Our Commitment
LeBaron Law & Mediation wants every visitor to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion. This site was designed and built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as its working standard.
What That Means in Practice
- Semantic page structure and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate.
- Every image described in text, or marked decorative.
- Color contrast that meets AA ratios.
- Full keyboard operation with visible focus.
- Forms with proper labels and clear error messages.
- Respect for your reduced-motion setting.
- Pinch-to-zoom is never disabled.
How We Check
Before launch, and after significant updates, every page is scanned with an automated WCAG 2.1 AA checker (axe-core), and critical or serious issues are fixed before the site goes live. Automated tools catch most but not all barriers, so pages are also reviewed by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader.
Limits, Honestly
Standards, browsers, and assistive technologies keep changing, and some third-party content (the embedded map, the chat widget, and documents supplied by others) may not meet the same standard. We don’t claim perfection or legal compliance; we claim a standard, a process, and a fast response when something falls short.
